4. Chau Seng (archive), who was in exile for his criticism of Lon Nol, and who came back after the Khmer Rouge came to power “to rebuild” is arrested and brought to S-21. Foreign observers say Pol Pot wants to dramatise Cambodia’s problems with Vietnam [they engaged in border clashes for months]- and ask for Chinese aid against Moscow-lean-ing Vietnam.
