    In an interview for his 1st anniversary in office, @POTUS Ford cited the fall of non‐Communist government in Cambodia as one of the largest disappointments and said there is “no possibility under current circumstances” for the reestablishment of a United States presence. Thai and Khmer Rouge officials meet for 1 hour inside Cambodia near the Thai border town of Aranyaprathet. Last night, KR representatives had asked across the barbed wire on the border bridge whether they could meet to discuss a resumption of trade and diplomatic relations.
