The Cambodian family said life is terrible and with no rice left to eat they were fed rice husks. Executions are becoming frequent again, often because of a lack of food. They say that after working in the field all day, the Khmer Rouge prohibit people to socialize at night. 2/2

The US ambassador to Thailand says, Cambodian refugees continue to tickle into Thailand. He recounts the story of a family of seven which is a “fairly typical story” by new arrivals:
