Pot answered: “The lines of struggle raised by Chairman Mao are an important strategic issue. We will follow your words in the future. I have read various works of Chairman Mao since I was young, especially the theory on people’s war. Your works have guided our entire party.”
“We agree with you! Much of your experience is better than ours. We committed errors of the political routes for ten times in 50 years—some national, some local. Thus China has no qualification to criticize you but have to applaud you.” He then discusses socialism vs. capitalism.

@JimLaurie_Asia I could not find a definitive history on Radio PhnomPenh. That later Reuters reports cite Radio PP as their source, suggests that it went off the air just temporarily. Survivors also tell stories about KR songs broadcasted via radio. I only found the wiki source on Sary’s niece.
