6. KR Head of State Khieu Samphan accepted the credentials of ambassadors Youmare Sela Lutin of Tanzania, and Sinali Toure of Mali. Both travelled from PhnomPenh to Siem Reap. Toure: “We saw impressive irrigation works. The Cambodian people have achieved unbelievable things”

4. Cambodia opens the Ren Fung company in HongKong for dealings with non-socialist countries, like buying DDT from the US, with payments settled through a Chinese bank. 
5. The US is prepared to work to reestablish normal bilateral relations with Cambodia.
